BSI's principals have senior level marketing/research, software
development experience and know first hand the
well-defined shortcomings of the tools currently available. This
group is united in the cause of making collective sense of
fragmented, inaccurate and disjointed data aggregated from networked
consumer activity and transactions. Think of us as the guys who will
keep track of sales and inventory in real-time, industry-wide.
John Weston, 46,
Founder, Chief Marketing Officer of Bean Stream, Inc. and CEO of StreetPulse,
Inc. (a wholly owned BSI subsidiary company), is an experienced record
industry research, development and promotions executive. Prior to
the formation of Bean-Stream, he ran his own consulting firm that serviced
record labels and other music related companies in developing system
analysis for specific marketing and A&R research. John spent 23
years with Atlantic Recording and PolyGram Recording working his way
from merchandising to senior level promotion and marketing
executive.
Aaron West, 35, Chief
Technology Officer of Bean Stream, Inc., is a computer
technologist with wide breadth of experience and knowledge. Aaron
has 18 years of knowledge of Basic, C and assembler, and 9 years
industry experience developing applications in C++, Perl, and
scripting languages. He has designed and integrated systems at all
levels, including database and application optimization and was the sole developer of the rare and collectible
book website, Bibliofind.com. Bibliofind was acquired by
Exchange.com and later by Amazon.com in 1999. Aaron programmed for
Amazon's software tool development team for 4 years before joining
BSI.
Other members of the
BSI team have deep and longstanding relationships in the Data and
